Monday Morning Update

Sunday was an awesome day of worship and fellowship with old and new friends. Joel Abbott taught the Sunday School lesson and Wes Blankenship brought the message at the Amelia’s Ward congregation while I taught a lesson and Glenn Till preached the sermon at Burnham Drive Church of Christ.

This morning, Monday, we are off and running.  Hitting the streets of Linden, door knocking, conducting Bible studies and inviting people to the nightly gospel meetings. It will be nonstop until about 2:00 PM or so then a break for lunch, a quick nap, then assembling together for the nightly classes. At about 9:30 PM or so, all of us from Hoover will gather together to compare our day and share notes. We will make plans for Tuesday, set the schedule, then settle off for bed about 11:00. It all starts again bright and early on Tuesday around 6:00 AM.

This will be the fastest week of the year.

….’till next time.—Mike

This was the small community in the bush that we studied at on Saturday. From the highway, you would never know it was there. A great family homestead.
